An Inter-School Literary Festival, DPS LitFEST 2023, was organized by Delhi Public School Kamptee Road, Nagpur on 26th August, 2023. This exciting event was designed to kindle the intellectual curiosity of young learners and foster a deep appreciation for the language.



The event was graced by the presence of distinguished individuals: Shri. Vijay Phanshikar, Editor of The Hitvada, who presided as the Chief Guest, and Ms. Tulika Kedia, President and Pro-Vice Chairperson of Delhi Public School Kamptee Road and MIHAN, Nagpur, who honoured us as the Guest of Honour.
DPS LitFEST 2023 offered an unparalleled platform to the students of Grades VI to XII to showcase their literary prowess and celebrate the magic of storytelling with a confetti of competitions carefully curated to unleash their imagination. The festival encompassed a series of captivating competitions that highlighted the diverse talents of the students. In 'Callidoscope', participants skillfully merged poetry and visual art by crafting poems in shapes that mirrored the themes of their compositions. The 'Tale with a Twist' event saw students reimagining the conclusions of famous novels, injecting new dimensions into well-known stories and challenging established narratives. 'Scene Stealer' brought dramatic readings to the stage, where participants adeptly conveyed a spectrum of emotions, leaving the audience in awe. The creative ingenuity of The Ink Hand' was evident as students used colours and strokes to depict the core essence of novels or poems without the use of words, showcasing their artistic flair. 'A Song to Remember' prompted teachers to compose original poems on assigned themes, pouring their emotions into their creations. The festival drew in a myriad of students from Nagpur who enthusiastically took part in these events, fostering a dynamic environment where youthful talents thrived and creativity was boundless.

Ms. Tulika Kedia who is an avid reader, literature enthusiast and an author of several books, encouraged the participants to explore more about the diverse corners of the world by fostering interest and passion in literature. She appreciated the effort of the participants and enthused them to develop an interest in reading books and in creative writing. Her presence and words became a catalyst for the students' self-belief and determination to excel, both in the literary domain and in their personal pursuits.

Shri. Vijay Phanshikar left a lasting impact on the attendees' hearts with his motivational storytelling session, inspiring and resonating deeply with everyone present. He not only captivated the audience with his words but also managed to ignite a spark of inspiration within the students. His words went beyond mere stories; they carried profound lessons and insights, leaving a lasting impression on young minds eager to learn and grow.

During the event, he took a moment to personally connect with the students, recognizing their dedication and hard work. His heartfelt appreciation for their talents and achievements resonated deeply, instilling a sense of pride and encouragement among the participants.

Ms. Savita Jaiswal, Director, bestowed her blessings and good wishes upon all the participants. Principal Ms. Divya Dwivedi extended a warm welcome to the esteemed audience and expressed her perspective, highlighting how authors from the past envisioned ideas that today's scientists have drawn upon, as depicted in their literary works.

The literary festival proved to be a great learning experience for all the students, who not only improved their literary skills but also gained confidence and exposure. The panel of judges faced a challenging task in determining the victors due to the impressive competition. It was an excellent opportunity for the students to come together and appreciate the power of words and literature.

कंपकंपाती ठंड में श्री रामलला के दर पहुंचे रिकॉर्ड श्रद्धालु

  अयोध्या , 01 जनवरी 2025. कैलेंडर वर्ष के पहले दिन सुबह से ही हजारों श्रद्धालु प्रभु श्री रामलला के दर्शन की अभिलाषा में पंक्तिबद्ध होकर अपनी बारी की प्रतीक्षा में धैर्य के साथ कदम-कदम आगे बढ़ रहे थे. न उन्हें कंपकंपाती सर्दी की परवाह थी , न ही बदन चीरती शीत लहर की.   सबकी बस एक ही लालसा कि किसी तरह उन्हें आराध्य के दर्शन मिल जाएं ताकि पूरा साल श्री रामलला के आशीर्वाद से सुख सुविधा से संपन्न हो. श्री राम जन्मभूमि तीर्थ क्षेत्र को पहली जनवरी को उमड़ने वाले श्रद्धालुओं का अंदाजा सप्ताह भर पहले से बढ़ी श्रद्धालुओं के चहल-पहल से हो चला था. इसी निमित्त दर्शन की पंक्तियां बढ़ाई गईं , दर्शन अवधि विस्तृत की गई और अन्य व्यवस्थाएं भी तदनुरूप की गई.   श्री रामलला के विराजमान होने के बाद नये कैलेण्डर वर्ष के प्रथम दिन का यह पहला अवसर था. रामलला की ड्योढ़ी तक पहुंचे प्रत्येक श्रद्धालु को बिना हबड़-तबड़ , सुगमता से दर्शन मिल जाए इसकी व्यवस्था में श्री राम जन्मभूमि तीर्थ क्षेत्र और प्रशासन तन्मयता से लगा था और सफल भी रहा. आज आधी रात से ही पुण्य सलिला सरयू के घाटों पर भीड़ उम...
